Best game of the year. First half was almost flawless. Just needed to get a goal

She jumped with her hand straight in the air and it deflected off her hand. Based off her reaction it wasn't intentional but it surely looked like it was going in had she not done that. Gave Fuller the chance to make that save

Yeah.. It's kinda freighting that this staff has left Fuller on the bench all season!! What are they looking at? Hopefully she sticks around but hard to do if your treated as they have treated her all season..

changing the leader had a massive impact on a team

South Carolina could have gotten a card on their last 2 fouls. They are playing very rough.

It really is amazing when you put the right players in the game how suddenly everything looks much different. More veterans in the match tonight, including finally inserting Fuller at GK, and look how that defense was organized and played so hard tonight with mostly good decisions on the ball. It felt like the players on the pitch had a newfound sense of confidence because they trusted their GK to make the saves and direct the defense correctly. They just controlled a match start to finish against a Top 10 opponent and deserved all 3 points. Yes, the PK shot was poor and Fuller made the requisite save, but that's why you take that red card to at least give your GK a chance to save the game. I will be very disappointed in Bobby if he doesn't start Fuller in goal the rest of the season. Why is it that all us fans knew she was our best GK but for some reason the coaches couldn't see it? That is a bit troubling to me honestly.
The passing, organization, and execution from back to front was by far the best of the season against a quality opponent. It's just a shame we couldn't finish a few of those chances in front of goal. A win tonight might have kickstarted the rest of the season, but we still have chance if we win out against 3 very winnable games. It would be such a boost going into a very important offseason for Bobby.

re: Fuller - my assumption is it was an internal disciplinary issue. Doubt we will ever know but seems to be logical.
