Last week when I said how ****ty the ref was for the game v. Georgia. I couldn't/didn't post here cuz I was doing an observation on that game.
I'll say that I did not like that 43 fouls were called in the Miss St. game. That way too many fouls for any game, let alone a high-level women's match. (Yes, you can debate "high-level" if you want.....) But 43 fouls is stopping the play ever other minute in the match. The ball is stationary more than it's moving. So there you have your criticism of the ref: major decisions correct, but too much involvement in the game overall. I don't have Maroon-blinders or referee-blinders on when I'm observing.
