Texas A&M vs. Air Force

The Aggies return to action Thursday night for a 7PM match against the Air Force Falcons. I believe this is our first time ever playing against Air Force.

The Falcons seem like a formidable side with a 3-0 record that includes a 4-1 win against Army, a 3-1 win over Creighton, and a 4-0 shutout at Navy. This should be another test for the young Aggie defense. The surprising stat to see is that, despite the lopsided score, both Creighton and Navy outshot Air Force in their games.

openly rooting for a return match at AF next year - spectacular stadium and always an air show or something goin on campus

I think Navy has a cool soccer stadium right by the water and it looks cool! That would be fun to play at!

I've played both at Navy and AF. They're both amazing fields, but I'll take the one at sea level any day.

Why not just do it in the aggie soccer club area? Was staff not outside the stadium before the last game...they should be doing everything possible to make entry easier after that crap.

Beyond the disorganized lines and lack of scanners, someone is going to get run over in the street with the street open in both directions by the entry gates.

I enter at the "main" reserved side gate on Tom Chandler Dr. I know their is another gate on the student side on Tom Chandler . Are there even gates open on Olsen Blvd any longer?

Apparently they are still at fish camp. This place is empty.

Not surprising. Most of the GA crowd Saturday was made up of club teams.

Diaz has been set up twice in the first 19 minutes with great passes. And both times has hyperly fired a shot nowhere near the goal.

0-0 after 20 minutes

IMO, Diaz so much better finding open players in the box this year vs having to try to take everything herself under G. She's so dynamic that she opens others up.

I started watching late. AF really have four or so SOG early? Any real threats against us? Regardless, let's just stay on the front foot. Looking good.

Most of their SOG are off bad turnovers, other than those turnovers in our backend the passing and shape is looking much better

I'm former student but saw no advertising for it. I did just see today they were giving away bucket hats to first 500 students as well. Looks like they have hundreds of hats left based on the crowd.
