Correct. That's not Trinity. She's on the top of the 18 marking her man.
It's the outside mid that subbed in on the left side

In the portal era, you need to be winning in year 2.

Exactly. Wouldn't be surprised if young stars find new homes if this season tanks. But then again, nothing is guaranteed

I have assumed that is why he is sticking with some of the youth. If all things are equal in ability between a Jr/Sr & and a freshmen, often coaches go with the experience. But if Bobby does not have faith in the season, maybe he is purposely going with the youth so that if the season does go south.......
1. Young players will be gaining valuable experience for the future that they can build on
2. If young players not happy about losing, at least Bobby can show that he was loyal to them with playing time and hope they remain loyal and stay for the rebuild.
either that or Bobby thinks the young players are the best players and he thinks they give him the best chance to win now or will develop and win as the season progresses.

Anyone have game tape from 2002, 2006, 2011, and 2019? I am curious about the 1st games KJ, Arnold, JDay, and Hutton played as a freshman.

Agree and disagree with a lot. I objectively don't think you can say last night was a bad performance. The outcome was bad yes, no "sugar coating" that. The defense needs to be better no doubt, but one of the CB's is a freshman, the right back is a forward, and the goalie is a freshman. It 100% needs to be better, but with a new coach comes new styles and philosophy. I'm not trying to say his philosophy is to suck on defense lol but a lot of last years defending wasn't necessarily a "rock solid" back line. It was parking the bus and defending with 5 in the back a lot of times. Last year we would lose games that we never really had a chance to win. We would score 1 goal if we were lucky, on 3 chances. This year we may still lose all those same games but we will always have a chance and may even be the better team like we were last night. We will at least have scoring chances unlike last year. Yes I am new to this forum, but I'm not blind to the mistakes. I simply saying what I see overall from the whole game play that happens on the field. Last night we played very well. We also made horrible mistakes that over shadowed all the great play and performances. Inexcusable 100%. After the Baylor game some people were celebrating only losing 0-2 after they beat ranked Arkansas 4-1. Both the Baylor goals in that game were mistakes defensively as well and we didn't have many scoring chances. Last night we had a ton of chances, 3 mistakes cost us and the world falls apart. A lot of the takes here in general don't make consistent common sense game to game or half to half. I'm going to continue posting about the actual play on the field and so far it has been improving. The box score watching is different. Fingers crossed it all gets figured out and we get back to being a respected program based on current things and not history!

Texas State over Baylor tonight 3-1 in Waco. 1st TX ST goal was a give away in the back by former a&m player. 2nd goal was off set piece (same left footed big kick by TX ST defender). 3rd goal was a strike from 40 yards out catching gk off her line. Crazy.

Not sure why that confuses you. Is there another former a&m player on that team?
