it's kinda like nfl fans always hating on the commissioner but they will keep watching.

This is why I love the expanded field. Also, screw Uruguay. I hate the way they play. Finally, Spain is super unimpressive.

Adis Uruguay.

Cape Verde and KSA game was a fantastic experience. Highly recommend catching a WC match if you ever get the chance. Never had so much fun at an event with no scoring.

Chile also did it in 1998

Spain win Group H as expected, although not really comfortably. Cabo Verde pulls an improbable outcome and finishes 2nd in the group. Their reward is a date with reigning champs Argentina. Uruguay are the highest ranked team officially going home early. Saudi Arabia were just kinda there and finish 4.
