This doesn't really matter since what all the coaches think they know is that A&M was the highest paid job in the country and they'll be looking for highest paid job type salary. That's the perception and perception is reality.

I don't think this is true. I think most of the money for the camps we're paying the "volunteer" coaches. That is how they were paid. I know one of the coaches that ran the camps until Coach G changed his mind.AggiesFight said:

But it seems a likely scenario is that Lenard showed interest in the position early and we waited to have her on campus to present the offer after her team was eliminated (her team was eliminated less than 2 weeks ago). We were then forced to pivot to different candidate(s) late last week and haven't gotten to the end with them yet. Sometimes I pass that along to y'all. I share what I think is reasonable to share, information about which I think I've received trustable information. If that offends you, heck, just use the option of ignoring my account. Easy solution.
I like getting snippets of information from others, so I reciprocate. It might not be as much info as some want, but it's what I think reasonable to share.
I sure hope the AD can bring in someone from the final four teams. Those coaches obviously have good ideas about how to succeed. It doesn't seem like that was the AD's initial plan, but if it turns out A&M can get a HC or assistant from one of those programs, that would be great. Let's hope it comes together quickly.

I'm a casual fan so don't know anything about potential coaches and whether they would be considered good hires or not. I also don't know what budget we are working with or if candidates would consider this a good job where they can win. Having said that, is the name you're hearing one that fans should feel good about. Coach Ford wasn't a huge name but has done well from ASU. Then we went a non traditional route hiring Coach Morrison because of his ties to the national team and the club volleyball scene and he has the program doing great.DragonAGDawg said:
