That was a world class sequence of play there great save tho

He didn't get much call out on the broadcast, but Caden Clark consistently made a lot of quick 1 touch passes to change the point of attack, and either create the chance (like on mcglynns goal) or put us in a numbers advantage.
I remember him being on that US youth team a whole back that played very well but haven't heard his name a ton since then
Wonder if he went to to Europe early and is still working his way into starting lineup or something.

I've had really high hopes for McGlynn. Missed the first part of the game but he scored shortly after I tuned in.

He's the kind of orchestrator in the midfield that would be so great for the A team. Love to see him knock one in from distance.

He's 19.

Don't think he's been playing club ball lately as he's listed as "unattached". He was released by Montreal (?) because he used a fake name to play in an amateur league or something like that. He may have played a bit in Argentina recently but definitely not really fit/sharp compared to others.

He went to Leipzig. Sat the bench a couple times but never played and was loaned out a bunch before transferring back to MLS.

Edit - oops, I didn't realize akm was talking about Miljevic… got confused by the CF Montreal… so I'll drop that part, but I still think Clark wasn't mentally ready for Europe. Hope he can go back.

Yea, he literally signed up for your run-of-the-mill indoor league and then got a red card for knocking a guy out. Word is he also assaulted the ref who gave the red card and the timekeeper before being escorted out of the arena.

Supposedly, Poch knows people who know the kid from Newell's Old Boys. Poch played there and Miljevic played there last season. Same agent or agency maybe representing them? Not sure. But these random NT camps can get a player back on the radar after they've been off it for a while. There's no other reason for him to get a call up other than that.
