Loved it! We played aggressive and confident on the offensive half of the ball! I know it's not a sec opponent but maybe with another year under our belt these ladies will play with more swagger and aggression!!! Hopefully it's a sign of things to come!
A fun and not a bad way to start the season even if in the long run Lamar turns out to be "horrifically bad."
Lamar had a RPI of 51 last year, beat top 20 ranked Xavier, and lost to Texas 2-0 in the NCAA tourney.
That was a nice start to the season. A resounding win!

Becerra looks to be in better shape and much faster than last year - she is the engine and once again our best player
Ivey- also looks to be in far superior shape after her lackluster first year
Keeper seems to have good athleticism but went in challenged and saw zero goal kicks
Hopefully a forward that can make goals happen emerges

Didn't get to watch, but I did get to listen to some. Thankful for David Ellis.
Still doesn't make sense opening up on the road at Lamar. From what I heard the tv broadcast was...interesting. And lol at players going to David Ellis' broadcast tent to check in to the game.
Regardless of the opponent though, 5-0 is a GREAT result for the opener.

Really encouraging to see so many shots on frame. That's been a big weakness of this teams in recent years--lots of shots, but few on frame. Last night, 11 on frame.
