I'm not going to be able to put as much effort and research into these. If someone wants to pick up the slack this season, go for it.

But for now, just the facts:
Gametime: Thursday 8/15, 7PM

For some reason we're starting the season on the road in Beaumont AT Lamar. It should be a doable midweek roadtrip for some. Otherwise, live video is only available for ESPN+ subscribers. You can listen to the game on 97.3FM or on the 12th Man app.

The Lamar Cardinals were 15-3-3 last season and won the Southland Conference. They lost to Texas in the 1st round of the NCAA Tournament 0-2.

Lamar must not do StatBroadcast so will be radio only for me. But hey, as long as I can follow the match I'm good!

They have been very succesful the past couple of years but I think we can take them. Coach G said in the interview Lamar is bringing in extra seating. They will be fired up. But the Ags will be, too!

They don't take Texas into consideration when they start the season in Aug.

89 feels like 103 at kickoff.

I'd prefer the 99 feels like 106 in DFW.
