That was an incredible buildup, all for Jones to just blast it behind and over everyone's head. He's one of those players that just aims for the box on crosses, and isn't intending to hit any specific spot like a great crosser is.
And that's one of those things where you either can or can't do it by the time you hit your 20s

Very bad turnover in that spot from Kamungo, but when they show the replay I see 3 US players just standing still and marked.
It's one of the glaring weaknesses with his teams, they just play so robotic and only reactive. Hardly ever any proactive play or reading of the game, or spontaneity.

I think Wiley needs to play that in 1st touch, instead of taking the touch around the defender then playing it. All the runs are being made assuming 1st touch cross there

McGuire has scored a lot of nice goals in the MLS, showing good instincts.
Missing that touch after the defender screws up was his money to score a goal or get an assist
