Granted, Grand Canyon ain't bad. And I'm surprised to see Alabama AT Mercer.

And BYU lost at Utah State yesterday after getting a draw at home against TCU on Thursday. BYU player was red-carded for "violent" play yesterday with 2 minutes left. I would like to see what she did.

The NCAA put out their first RPI rankings of the year through games of September 17. We are at 116 of 347. The RPI of our SEC opponents is:
5 - Alabama
6 - MSU
19 - Arkansas
31 - Tennessee
33 - South Carolina
44 - Vanderbilt
52 - Mississippi
55 - Kentucky
94 - LSU
119 - Auburn

The RPI of our non-conference opponents is:
3 - FSU

Victor Olorunfemi wrote this about the BYU red card in their game at Utah State in a story on the Top Drawer Soccer website: "That frustration would finally boil over in the 88th minute as senior Jamie Shepherd received a red card for violent conduct as she stomped on an opponent. It was an uncharacteristic moment for a player who had only been carded six times in her 91 college soccer starts."

Our RPI is miserable right now. Here are my right now predictions for the rest of conference play. bold are already played, bracket is game order.

5 - Alabama - loss (6)
6 - MSU @ win (2)
19 - Arkansas - loss (3)
31 - Tennessee @ loss (9)
33 - South Carolina - draw (8)
44 - Vanderbilt @ - draw (5)
52 - Mississippi - win (4)
55 - Kentucky - D (1)
94 - LSU @ - win (10)
119 - Auburn @ - win (7)

4-3-3 in conference, should be good for 5-7 in SEC. I think we will have a lot of 1 goal games. Our next game against MsSt is huge.
