Gold & Guest podcast said Tottenham are reportedly paying his full wages ($160k/wk) for the season.
On a side note, I find it odd they always talk about weekly wages. When I hear this, I envision the players strolling into the front office on Friday mornings to pickup their check from the accounting department.

I'm sure it is direct deposit but it isn't odd for athletes to be paid weekly. NFL is weekly.

I'm used to hearing the salaries discussed American sports leagues on an annual or per season basis rather than a weekly basis, so that's why it strikes me as odd. Maybe "odd" is the incorrect adjective to use in this case.

As I get into the sport it's kind of funny that no one seems to talk much about how much the players make a year - all anyone seems to talk about are the transfer fees the teams pay/receive to buy/loan/sell players.

I agree it is weird no one really talks about wages. It is included in the PSR so you would think it would be a bigger deal. Honestly the finance side of the EPL is really interesting to me. Fitting that I support Tottenham and Daniel Levy.

Might be the first year I don't buy any of them since I became a supporter.
I hated pictures of the solar system uniform a couple years ago and it was absolutely one of my favorites once i saw it on the field.

Same. I missed the chance to get it from the team store or Fanatics and had to find one on ebay.
I should have said that I could potentially go for the green one here. We'll see. I hate buying white bc of stains, etc., and I hate the weird blue one so far (and I abhor a centered badge).

Highlights are on YouTube. The young guys looked good. Mikey Moore is legit. If we add Toney, Eze and Gallagher that would really help fill this team out and be ready for all competitions.

Solanke news really starting to ramp up along with selling Richarlison to saudi. Really would like Eze on the right.
It's so difficult to imagine what the team will look like in 1-2 weeks. What are your thoughts on the two deep? Obviously it's difficult to project without knowing who we're signing. The hardest part is projecting the best possible midfield. For current play, I'd love to see Kulu, Bergvall, and Bissouma. They'd be completely press resistant.
