Our talent scouting has been pretty lights out recently, so I have to trust this will be good

Just listening to a couple podcasts talk about him, he is super aggressive and really good in the air. Between him and Romero they may be good for a couple red cards a piece each.

Dude has (had?) so much potential, but as a Leipzig fan, I'll report that he legitimately lost his spot as a starter. Many pundits chalk up his lack of playing time to injury struggles this year, and there is some truth to that - but his form wasn't good last year either and that's why Leipzig made a club record signing for Openda (who's in great form). Maybe he doesn't fit the system now. He excelled years ago before the Chelsea move when Leipzig was up-and-coming and played counter-press. His speed over the top was an awesome asset back then. But now Leipzig plays with more possession, and he's simply not creative enough at timing his runs or making good passes IMO.

Hope it works out for him and y'all, but like I said at the beginning - I think it's very wise to do a loan with option to buy. Worst case he's some cheap depth.
