Howdy Aggie Soccer fans. This year's write ups will be short and sweet. If someone wants to dig further into the personnel or stats, be my guest.

Aggie Soccer kicks the season off on the road this year. They'll face Clemson tomorrow night (Thursday) at 6PM Central/7PM Eastern. The game will broadcast on ACCNX here. I assume it requires an ESPN+ subscription? You can listen to our home audio here.

Anywho, Clemson comes into the season ranked #25. Last season's squad went 12-7-1 with a 6-3-1 mark in the ACC. They advanced to the NCAA tournament for their 8th consecutive year, but lost at home in the first round to Alabama.

Here's my hard hitting analysis: This is a tough match for A&M, especially as the season opener on the road.

I think ACCNX is like SEC Network +. I was able to watch the ACCNX last season without an ESPN Plus subscription.

Chris Henderson of All White Kit had this comment on the game the other day:
"Clemson enter the season with College Cup dreams and get a chance right away for a statement win. Texas A&M will be looking for an immediate bounce back after a disappointing 2021 season."

I believe the last time we played in Clemson's stadium was in 2015 in the 2nd and 3rd round of the NCAA tournament. We beat North Carolina 1-0 and won a PK shootout against Mississippi with 5' 1" Sarah Shaw scoring the deciding PK.
