The October camp has no international competition associated with it and is therefore just a scouting camp for Vlatko to take a look at some of the stateside collegiate and NWSL players.
This is a fantastic and well-deserved call up for Shea and Vlatko has always been very high on her abilities and potential, but realistically I'd say she has <1% chance of making the limited Olympic roster. That said, if she can stay healthy, with Lloyd (confirmed) and Pinoe (likely) done after 2021, Morgan (31) returning from maternity, and Heath & McDonald (32) both getting older, competition is going to open up at forward, and I think Shea's got a chance of getting some caps in for WWC 2023 qualifiers.
