Overall I think the tournament was a success for the USA. We clearly have questions to be answered and have some players that need to be replaced but I think we saw what GB is trying to do. We looked really good for a large part of this game. Defended well and opened things up on the attack.

I said it before the tournament started: make the final and be competitive. They did that.

Now let's hope some of our young guys get plenty of minutes with their clubs and earn their chances to help us qualify for Qatar.

The reality is that a team of all European players has always included a handful of real players and a bunch of scrubs who happen to just have the right passport.

So the soccer forum is just like the football version- posters calling other Aggies idiots and clowns. I love me some USMNT but not on here if that's the case.

Good tournament, just didn't finish. Keep improving though and hopefully the team will be positioned well in the coming years for the WC.

I think the best we can hope for is to just be 50/50 when we play Mexico, unless we find a way to limit who can buy tickets. We are also coming off not qualifying for the world cup, so it takes a bit for the casual fan to want to spend $100 on a game I'd imagine. Gotta choose locations where there aren't a ton of 1st generation immigrants and illegals living.

I think Jozy still has value as our only true hold up forward at this point.

Considering the night and day difference of when Jozy was in vs when he went out, I don't get how you can want him gone. I want someone to play well enough to replace him, of course.

I think playing Miazga over Zimmerman was an interesting choice.

Did you not see when he missed a sitter? How many times has he done that? When was his last meaningful goal? Has he ever scored against Mexico. He holds the ball up well but does nothing else at all.
