Choppy game for A&M but hard to play at a high level for 90 minutes against a hapless opponent that has lost 5 starters to injury for the season. A&M came out hard in the first 10 minutes and took control of the match and the rest was cruise control. I was disappointed in some of the transition defense which allowed a couple of good looks in front of goal that should have been converted by Kentucky. A&M missed a few easy ones in front of goal as well and continued to take long off-balance shots that went over or wide of the goal. Ally needs to trust her speed and go at defenders instead of pulling up and looking to pass it into the box. However, she did finish one of her two 1v1 so that was nice for a change. Kate may not play again this season after that ridiculous turnover that led to the Wildcats' only goal. Overall the team dominated possession and played keep away for most of the match. The next few games are the easiest left on the schedule before the Tennessee/South Carolina gauntlet.
