Kudos to an older, exhausted (coming off three straight 120 minute matches) Croatia, who looked the better side from basically halftime on. Fully deserved finalists.

I do feel for Trippier, and I really wish we could have seen a full complement of English players selling out for that tying goal

Question: When one has a proven man defending the goal do you think the defense can be somewhat complacent?

I would not say screwed but the ref had an awful second half. There were a number of play on calls that were obvious fouls.

BS, he missed several in the 2nd half that could have been difference makers. Croatia worked the ref over after halftime, got all the no calls the 2nd half. One ball was out the end line, should have been a corner. Several other no calls on fouls.

I didn't say that's why England lost (you are putting words in my mouth), but it sure didn't help, and they needed the help.

Croatia got had a fair number of opportunities, but the goal difference came from a fortunate header, broken play.

Well watching the match in London was outstanding. The pub I was in was asses to elbows full and loud as hell the whole match. Obviously not the end result I wanted but it was a great time being over here to experience that .Will try to post a video or two once I get back home
