Zardes on

US subs have brought up the energy level. Ghana looks ready to go home.

People say there's no such thing as luck, but that save was pure luck.

Zardes reminds me of an NBA player that has a ton of upside with a great worth ethic, but can't piece it all together.

Lots of positives today, especially with the newcomers...but I think the Zardes experiment is over.

Always felt like he gave it 100%, but definitely think
it's time to move on from Zardes as well.

Yeah never been a question of effort, dedication etc.
But when you don't have a good touch, aren't a great finisher and an average defender, there really isn't a whole lot he brings.

Zardes experiment over? Not with Bruce Arena at the helm.

You can count on Zardes getting plenty of opportunities. USMNT plays lots of friendlies and some weak opponents. You can play Zardes without worrying about outcome. Arena is gearing team up for the big matches.

Zardes needs to improve and Arena will give him a chance to do that.

I'd love for Zardes and Arena to prove me wrong. There's so much promise in him, but the 2018 WC is getting closer and closer.
