Emre was much better today. He actually pushed forward much more and interchanged well in other positions.

That being said, Ill stick to my guns on this one too. Once Wijnaldum is fully healthy he will start over Emre.

Firmino becoming my favorite athlete. Works his ass off, has fun. Normally I'd get upset at a player taking silly yellow cards but it just cracks me up that he ripped his shirt off before the ball even crossed the goal. I needed that laugh today

Whelp, I was wrong. Can still in the starting lineup. He has played well and probably deserves to keep his place. I'm still worried about his reckless tackling, but he has been moving around the field really well.

Lovren also out with illness, so Lucas gets the nod at CB.

Can pretty careless with the football again but ultimately an important player.

Crap luck for Sturridge not putting one of those in. Happy for Wijnaldum getting his first - that should relieve a lot of internal pressure.

Agreed, if we play that game 10 more times, I think we win 7 of them (draw the other 3). The good news is that they hardly had a chance of conceding and basically just played a wall the entire game. It's what ManU did against us as well ... Lallana makes such a massive difference when he can play. (as evidenced by both matches)
