Up 2 against Hull... Both goals looked a bit offsides. I guess the bright side of Europa is that Yedlin will get a lot more playing opportunities.

And that's the Tim Sherwood team we've all been expecting... Glad Guzan wasn't the starter for it.

Lost 6-1 to Southampton...

The first goal was tough to really see. The second I thought Rose was off by 3 feet at the play of the ball.

Rose looked on to me. Just perfect timing. Why is his hair red/pink?

Mauricio Pochettino tells Tottenham bosses he wants to KEEP 30million flop Erik Lamela

I have no idea as to the reliability of The Mirror, but I think that Lamela has shown improvement, and it's a bit too soon to get rid of him. He's only 23.

Mauricio Pochettino has told Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy he wants to keep Erik Lamela at White Hart Lane.

The 30million club-record signing had been earmarked for sale this summer but Pochettino believes his fellow Argentine still has a future at the club, despite a difficult two years since his move from Roma.

Spurs will attempt to off-load four of the seven players they signed after the sale of Gareth Bale in 2013 - with Roberto Soldado, Paulinho, Etienne Capoue and Vlad Chiriches all in the out-tray.

But Lamela, 23, is to survive the cull - despite interest from Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan.

not completely unlike the kyle field construction - they will build it half at a time.

they build one new half...then tear out the old and build the other half. but they will still play one season away from white hart lane (2017-18) as their offseason (just a couple of months really) is too short to even build half of the stadium.

October/November and later in January/February are probably the cheapest months to fly to the U.K. Not great weather at those times of year though.

On to Europa, but at least there is always this:

@TalkingTHFC: Tottenham are therefore on track to finish above Brendan 'we won't do a Tottenham' Rodgers and Liverpool. #THFC #LFC http://t.co/LkNkSpy9bM

Supposedly offered 11m for Ings (I really like that signing), which makes him about the 3rd striker we're rumored to be signing.

Please, no more 30 year old strikers who have reached their maximum career value. Its just bad business.

Oh, and apparently Adebayor to Aston Villa. Great move for everyone, though Im sure spurs will have to subsidize his wage,.
