Looking at ads today, have we changed much? Instead of showing women as homemakers, we show them as sex objects.

I think from a marketing standpoint, women need to reinvent themselves. It's time for a rebrand if they want to move out of the kitchen/bedroom.

Given we just passed the anniversary of the Alamo, I like 13 Day to Glory.

I was thinking a book about our war of independence would be good. Or just general Texas history. Just wondering if any came to mind to recommend.

Thinking about my book shelf, I think all my Texas books are pretty specific.

13 Days to Glory is my favorite about the revolution. It is obviously primarily the Alamo, but includes a look at other items.

I have numerous books on the history of Corpitos. The trilogy of the snow. Books on big bend. Books on all points in between.

Let me know what you find out.

I had to learn Texas history the hard way, by watching slide shows with a cassette audio and a "ding" to change the slide. That and going to Goliad, Coleto Creek, Alamo, San Jacinto, etc
