Interview went well, but I have a feeling the Ags will not be hiring me to take them to the promised land in the SEC. Got some good grub and toured the athletics facilities though.

They didn't want to pony up the dough for ya, or go for the splash hire. Could you imagine the excitement on the sidelines with Coach jeffk???

I could easily imagine my excitement and the "excitement" of the rest of TexAgs.

Nick - thanks for working the aid station. You guys are life-savers! The weather was perfect for us runners, but I could see why you guys would be chilly. On mile two we passed a spectator sitting on the curb with a full 24 pack of Keystone (this was at 7:30 am).

Here's a story for you Nick.

There was this girl who, well, I can't say we really dated, but you know how that usually goes for me. Anyway, time passes and she is dating a guy, a real winner if you know what I mean. So I am leaving soon for lands afar and decide I wanted to spend a day with her. I call her up and ask her if she would like to do something for a day. She says yes and I plan the day. Later, she says her boyfriend wants to know where I am taking her. Hold on there buddy, I have known her longer than you and I will not stand for any guy trying to dictate to me what I can and cannot do with a girl. So I tell her it is a surprise and she will just have to find out. The day was a great day, she had a wonderful time. And he called every 5 minutes to check up on her. She was pissed at him and they shortly thereafter broke up.

Great stories, Sandy. I think I've heard the one about you breaking the door. Your dedication is impressive...and kind of troubling.
