I bought this a few years ago on our old deer lease in Menard.
Clean Texas title in my name, no lien.
Best suited for a deer lease, ranch, or jobsite setup. Works as-is for camp with A/C and appliances running.
This is a 39 ft double-bedroom style BUMPER PULL travel trailer with a lot of usable space. Interior is in good shape for its age and all the main stuff works. Not a perfect turnkey camper, but a solid setup depending on what you're looking for.
Specs:
- ~39 ft overall length (tongue to bumper)
- Empty weight: ~8,676 lbs
- Dual A/C units
- Double-bedroom layout
- Bumper pull
The Good:
- Both A/C units original but blow cold (master bedroom will freeze you out)
- Fridge and freezer work (ice maker condition unknown, never hooked up)
- Microwave, stove, and oven all work
- Electric water heater works (aftermarket, smaller capacity)
- washer dryer hook ups with closet
- Interior is in good shape overall (see photos)
- Two separate sleeping areas + dinette
- Plenty of storage throughout
- Bathroom and shower are clean and usable
- Towable recently pulled from Menard Waelder Coldspring
- Tires ~3 years old with very low miles
- No known frame, axle, or hitch issues
The Bad:
- Roof leaks in a couple spots (front bed and dinette)
- Only leaks during heavy rain with wind, not normal showers
- One soft floor spot at foot of front bed
- Roof has some soft sections (wouldn't walk it much)
- If you keep the a/c on 80 or lower (running), there is no moisture smell (keep it dry)
- Some signs of past moisture (cosmetic)
The Ugly (just being upfront):
- Roof will need repair/sealing if you want it fully fixed
- Not a long-distance travel camper without going through a few things first
- Electrical needs some attention in the interior. Or not. Lights and outlets work in the front half of the trailer. The master bedroom in the rear does not have functioning lights or outlets. Factory lighting has been replaced with Amazon rechargeable dome lights on ceiling and outlet inaccessibility is remediated by an extension cord. Again, deer lease quality. Works but don't try to pitch it to the wife as a honeymoon.
- Trailer lights have a loose ground (intermittent). Just a heads up if you tow at night.
- Brakes partially working 3 out of 4 worked at inspection 2.5 years ago. Would wager all 3 still work because response is immediate when tested with my truck
Bottom line:
You can use it now as a deer lease or camp setup with cold A/C and working appliances. If you want it fully sealed and road-trip ready, it'll need roof work. But for a lease or weekend camp, park it under a big oak tree or lean-to and you won't have any complaints. Pictures prove the leaks are minor and can probably be patched pretty easy.
1/2 ton towable depending on setup, but realistically 3/4 ton. No I do not have a distribution hitch. I pulled it at 65 with my 6.7 F250 no problems, just take it easy. I can deliver if destination is agreeable if you want me to drop it at your lease or ranch. Cost of delivery will depend on distance and convenience.
$6,500 OBO
Located at an RV park not far from Cape Royale (west side of Lake Livingston). It is plugged in and ready for showing. PM me for a visit or leave a means for me to contact you. I live an hour away. If you come to look, please bring cash and a good attitude. Give me a week or two of air time on here before you low ball me. At that point I will list on Fbook marketplace and weigh all my options.
I will edit to remove listing as soon as I have cash in hand. So yes it is still available.
Will have exterior pics before the weekend. Forgot to take them.
