Looking for an older/work truck to be used primarily for house projects and as a backup to our daily drivers.

Toyota or Ford extended cab is preferred, but open to any makes/models. Higher milage and cosmetics are not a concern, but would like something currently running and having passed a recent inspection.

Ideally looking to spend in the $2500-$4000 range for this truck. We're currently considering a couple on FB Marketplace and have looked on Craigslist, but would prefer to work with someone through TexAgs in case anyone is looking to get rid of their truck! Located in Euless. TIA

I got an older 1995 Ford Ranger 4.0 extended cab 2WD with jump seats if you're interested. May have to wait a bit on any sale, I am moving out of TX for work possibly and my DD just got wrecked last week and need better milage (my other little diesel pickup is being restored bit by bit...).

Body is beat but it runs fine (huge dent passenger side),ll write you a list of what I know so far has issues if you text me 469- fivehun8five-9517.

I put quite a bit of work into it so far:

New stuff:
Spark + wire (I have a set of double plats too)
clutch + slave cyl: ~3000 miles
Wheel bearing + Rotors + wheel seals
Brake pads
Dash (Still has a speedo issue, fine if you use tachometer)
Alternator
Thermostat + Radiator housing
MAF sensor, IAT sensor
Tie rods
Head lights.
Fuel filter
Battery
Fluids/filters all changed (including differential) within good interverals
Cluster (have old one but it's busted) and all lights on there

Parts:
Brake calipers
Radius arm bushings (can't do it now since DD got wrecked)
Spare relays
Fuel injectors

Planning to swap the fuel pump out, if you can locate and bring a replacement bed for cheap can be swapped while I do that.
