My Dad '51 was a State Highway Engineer and passed on to me his love for collecting all kinds of maps. I have decided to let go of many of our old ORIGINAL Texas Highways maps.

Buy one for the year you were born, graduated or some other significant year or just as 'rustic' decoration. Note the older ones and their lack of Interstate Highways, Toll Roads, smaller City Limits, etc.

These are the only years I have available:
Prices vary as to how many I have available and their respective age(s) They are all in Great to New condition and are original, NOT REPRINTS.
I will take cash and meet for delivery in College Station. If you are outside B/CS we can arrange for Mail...

That's cool. My dad is the same. I would take the '52 and '23 to make some kind of commemorative deal out of. E-mail me lazurasdc at yahoo

I haven't opened them for pictures as I don't want to risk effing them up. Standard dimensions are 36in x 33in. The ones from the 80's and older are slightly smaller.

Please email requests to gdubya93 at yahoo

Here are two I purchased from op years ago on a previous sale. These maps were widely used for travel before cell phones. I still have the one I used in the 80s and 90s with ranches and hunting spots circled. Large map on one side and historical info about different areas on the other side when unfolded. Pretty interesting to see how the loops, toll roads, and interstates changed Texas.
ETA the maps are of the entire state of Texas. I just pictured the Houston area.

Man I grew up in Brazoria County and don't recall ever hearing of Otey.

I'm in Kingwood and it didn't exist in 1958. Neither did Atascocita or Lake Conroe or Lake Livingston. I see Lake Houston as it was built about that time, flooding some large farms and ranches after the dam was finished.

I'm not talking about a lake. Just a little town.

This is awesome.

Although I do note that somewhere along the line, they added a 'g' to Kinwood.

Thanks for all the help! Looking at you, MAS....

I apologize for the lack of pictures, but I'm working with fairly limited resources right now (long story short: Great Life-Divorce-Lost Job-Homeless-Hospital-Homeless Shelter (x2)-Some Work-Living in car--Homeless Again-Move in to new apartment, November.)

I'm calling it a 'transitional period'. I had no idea there would be so much interest!

All emails returned. Requests set aside.
