I found it harder than a rotary mower, but that's because my lawn wasn't big enough. There is definitely a learning curve.

The "Standard" has a cutting height of up to 1.25", whereas the "High Cut" goes up to 2.25".

More than likely if you're cutting bermuda short, it's probably the standard model. I'd be cutting zoysia and like to keep it between 2-2.5". This is a great deal for someone in the market for a reel mower. GLWS!
