This Thompson Venture 300WM with a Nikon Prostaff 3x9x50 scope was given to me by a close friend who bought it for an elk hunt in CO. It was subsequently used for three deer hunting seasons. By my count, it has 25 rounds through it. The action is extremely smooth and there are no blemishes on the barrel or other metal parts. There are a few very minor cosmetic scuffs on the stock from being in a deer blind and rubbing around in my safe. The barrel is matte stainless - Thompson calls it their Weather Shield coating, so it should last a lifetime. Also comes with 23 rounds of 150gr Hornady American Whitetail and 12 rounds of 180gr Remington Swift Scirocco. You can take this hunting for elk, moose, or deer tomorrow.

This is a 3-gun setup I never really used.

Spikes Tactical lower with milspec bolt and bolt carrier mated to a Stag Arms 3-gun upper in 5.56 NATO. The upper was bought directly from Stag and includes an 18" fluted stainless barrel, compensator, and 15" Samson handguard. Lower has Magpul furniture. I might have put two boxes of ammo through it, cleaned it, and it has just sat in my safe. It's like new. It shoots incredibly well as the comp makes follow-up shots quick with almost no muzzle rise.

I have a Thompson center venture and love it. Looks like a pretty good deal for anyone getting into western hunting!

Are you willing to separate and sell the lower? May be interested in that. Makes trips to BCS semi regularly and will be through Round Rock in january.

Maybe, but would first look to sell the entire setup. Have had a few inquiries and would want to work through those, first.
