I'm in the market for a reliable and economical gas car for daily commuting (about 100miles/day). I'm looking for something affordable, with good fuel efficiency. I don't need anything fancyjust a solid, dependable vehicle that can get me from point A to point B without breaking the bank. Looking for something in the 2015-2018 range but open to anything really.
Budget is anything less than $10k really, but could stretch for the right deal.

What's the story on this one - why such low mileage, why selling, etc.? Seems like a dream commuter.

Someone needs to jump on that. Back in 2011 I took a job that gave a 1:20 commute each way. I've never been a car guy but I needed a commuter car so I needed up with a 2008 ES350. I loved that car. Very comfortable, great driver, and extremely reliable. If I had an excuse it would be in my garage.

I still drive my 09 Es350 as my daily driver. 106k only.

It's a low cost driver for sure and faster than it looks.

I've got a 2014 Avalon we would part with. 145K, new brakes all the way around and rotors on the front, shocks/struts at 100K, tires have under 10K on them. Never had a problem with it. Gets 30+ on the hwy with a 3.5 6-cylinder. Good condition all the way around.
I would take $10k for it and might negotiate a little(but not a ton).
Its in CS, but will be in Dallas on occasion. Daughter's car at A&M.

I'm in west Houston and have a 2008 Camry with ~145k miles if that might interest you. Other than a minor oil consumption issue, it runs well. If it weren't for a growing family and changing needs, I'd still be driving it. I was about ready to offload it to CarMax for a song, but would gladly sell it to another Ag for a reasonable price instead. Single owner, kept up on maintenance, no major accidents, tires have decent life left. Let me know if you'd be interested. Probably not as nice as the other options in this thread but priced accordingly.
