No. Typically, this is used on a vehicle and connects to the vehicle's electrical system.

I keep seeing this bumped and I just can't understand why anyone would buy a 3000 lumen flashlight for $2000. You can buy a 5000 lumen light for a hundred bucks. Even if the $100 light isn't BIFL, you can replace it 20 times.

Are expensive lumens better than cheaper lumens?

What does that even mean?

Well I guess your right

I have only used mine and I could light up the sky and any field for a distance
Mine also has all the extra lenses or used to

But it is big and probably not compact like the others now

Carry on

Not sure my grandfather needed a 3000 lumen light, for the .50 cal he was using while mowing down nazis.

The way the light is concentrated can be quite different and have a major impact on how far you can see clearly. My experience is some hand cannons can put out huge light for 20 seconds but then they heat up so much they have to reduce the lumens and after a couple minutes they're super hot. I don't have a need for a $2,000 light but if it lived on land and used it daily I'd consider something more than my $300 light.
