Yep....that's an SBR now.

You will have 120 days from the time the rule is published to...

1. Destroy
2. Turn in to ATF
3. Modify to pistol in a manner that is irreversible. (This makes no sense....you're supposed to "remove the brace such that you cannot put it back"....whatever the f this means I'm not sure.)
4. Register as SBR and get tax stamp.

With regard to #3....technically it is not allowed to convert from a rifle to a pistol....and now that it is technically a rifle (SBR)....removing the brace to convert to pistol violates this....but it looks like the 120 grace period allows for this.


edit: I'm leaning toward putting a stock on mine and just registering.....I mean....if you're going to register as SBR may as well lose the brace and add a real buttstock.
