Keep in mind they get organized in Sept. and it takes some time to get organized and learn a routine. Not sure when they'd be ready to perform, but doubt it'd be before late season.

They've performed at halftime relatively recently (within the last 15 years) when the other team didn't bring a band.

dont they do pregame in front of the reviewing stand at the last home game? i am not sure when tryouts are. that might be the first time they are ready to perform. i thought they were mostly a econd semester thing
