Milwaukee Ag

Excellent story. And thanks from all of us for taking the time to visit that old Ag and watch games with him. He probably felt very special.

You, sir, ARE the Aggie Network.

nice story, Milwaukee. Thanks for sharing.

I just listened to this song again, twice. 1 version was by the Singing Cadets and 1 version that was probably from the 50's. The 50's version is vintage swing, too. Not sure who sang it, but has a narrator that gives a brief history of the song, as well.

Have both on MP3, too.

I need to follow up to this because my wife, who witnessed this, reminded me that I left something out. After we sang the song together and the other old folks were thinking that we needed to be committed, the Old Ag said to me "son, when you get home, you get that ring resized and put it on and don't be taking it off anymore. I have worn this ring through two wars and two marriages and I have looked at it every day for 60 years. You found me because I was wearing this ring. Someday an Aggie will find you because you are wearing your ring."

I sent my ring off to Balfour and got it resized and got it back and started wearing it again. Not two weeks later I am in a restaraunt in Fond du lac, WI and a guy comes rushing up to me and says "Howdy Ag, Class of 92!!!"

Honestly, I cant see LTC Brewer letting Hullabaloo have anything to do with "Id rather be a Texas Aggie"

I am not gonig to start a debate but there are just somethings that BQs wont let go of.

I had the opertunity to hang out with a bunch of Ol' CTs at a CCA/CDC Banquet my Butt year most of them were class of '45 they told us that they used to sneak out of Riverside and go behind Eds and drink Beer. Pretty neat oppertunity to talk to the fish that lived at Riverside.
