I dated a chick from Nederland at one point, and her mom was whacko for the 'Dogs. I thought she was bad, but I have to say, my friend, the folks on the Reservation are right up there, too. It's a great rivalry, with the loser seething for 12 months every time. I will relate one anecdote in support of your cause, however.

True story: One time, while I was going out with this girl, her mom asked us what we wanted to eat. They lived, at the time, essentially on one of the border streets between Port Neches and Nederland. We requested Sonic if memory serves me correct, to which she complained, "That's completely across town." I, stepping into up to my neck, said that it was right down the street. Her eyes went red, and she replied (in a voice straight from Hades), "I hope you don't expect me to go to a place in Port Neches. I will not eat anything from any restaurant there!"

Went to a private school in Austin. They were in our district and pretty much sucked at everything but football. They intimidated the hell out of us. Many of their guys were a couple of grades behind due to their disability so we were playing several guys w/ full beards and several 20 year olds. They were also cheap fers. They would bark "hut" and get our Olinemen to jump. We informed the refs and their reply would be "they are deaf, so....they can't talk?" anyway we would have a half dozen false starts every game. The crap they did in the bottom of the pile was extremely cheap (eye gouge, tore a knee up of our running back, nut squeeze, whatever)

1. I don't like Dallas Carter because they all pretty much were thugs back in the day (still are I guess). Their running back in the early 90's mugged my grandma and stole her car while she was in the mall parking lot at NorthPark mall..actually kicked her while she was down...COLD BLOODED!

2. We beat Odessa the year Friday Night Lights took place...but they had us losing in the movie! They also changed our name from the Marshall Mavericks to the Marshall Bulldogs in the movie.

3. The Longview Lobos were always our rival. Still don't like the green and white (might have something to do with baylor as well)

4. Highland Park kicked our butt in the 2005 4-A state championship game...and well I just don't like em.


But its all in the past now..I've been out of high school for almost 10 years and all I really care about now is Aggie Football.

Being a Midland Lee grad, I'd have to say Odessa Permian.

Living in San Antonio, I'd also say Judson.

And since my son goes to Central Catholic HS, I'll add Holy Cross to the mix!

as far as most hated team... i'll vote for any team that ever beat hillsboro or sulphur springs while i played for them... so theres quite a few... i just hate to lose.

I really used to admire Darrell Tully, John Garrison and a couple of other coaches in the SBISD.
