Like others have said, go get yourselves some TEXAS A&M stickers for your cars, and TEXAS A&M t-shirts.

I agree 100% WestTexasAg

Hate of another team isn't what defines Texas A&M University.

Replace that saw em off sticker today...there are many ways to show your schools identity in a unique way

I have actually seen a few "Saw em off" stickers on the back of Tech students' vehicles here in Lubbock. Now that makes sense since Tech only cares about their Super Bowl matchups with Texas A&M or tu. As for Aggies, we have the greatest school in the world. Why would we need to display anything that gives any attention to other schools?

Just out of curiosity, do yall sing saw varsity's horns off when we are playing another team? Or do you yell B.T.H.O. whoever? After all, that is not pro aggie. Oh and for what it's worth, I've never had a saw'em off sticker, but they've never bothered me either.

WestTexas - we get that you don't like them, but plenty of us do (or else you wouldn't see those shirts and stickers).

If you don't want them, fine. Leave the folks that like them alone.

Hopefully Texas wins the lawsuit..... would be great and down with Aggieland Outfitters.

Mine has a TEXAS A&M logo on the front and a "saw 'em off" on the back. So, I guess I'm supporting both causes.

They only have the best Aggie gear in town (and have many other things besides the "saw 'em off" merchandise).

They won't. The case is a sure loser, and will get dismissed on Summary Judgment. Texas is just heding its bets on AO not being able to carry the costs of litigation, and hoping he'll come to some sort of an agreement. He'll win if he goes to court-very easily.

I've never had a Saw em off sticker but I think I might go get one.

That would suck to have it taken away. It's a fun part of the rivalry. I do find it funny that after hearing over and over and over again how tu "doesn't care" about our rivalry that this was the year that 1) The hellraisers try to take our spot for yell practice, 2) we beat tu in austin, and 3) they sue over the horns thing.

That's alright...even if tu wins, theres someone smart out there that knows about trademarks to make a legal marketable version.

Any ags that work in copywrite law, take a look at all of tu's songs, chants traditions, symbols, etc. If they haven't copywrited it we need to.

Kinda like when the Cowboys copywrited the Eagles fight song after their owner was the lone vote against an expansion team in Dallas.

You can't copyright or trademark something that has been in the public domain for years. Frankly all of you Ags that are complaining about Texas enforcing their property rights should take a good look at yourselves. How would you like it if some business in Lubbock started selling "Down with the 12th Man" tshirts?
Farva

I've seen a lot of "we only need 11 men" t-shirts.

No one's sued over that. One thing if we copied someone's slogan or logo. It's another thing if we poke fun of someone's slogan or logo.

An easy fix would be to just change the color of the logo wouldn't you think, from turd orange to something else.

just a thought, i've never liked them either, and outside of Aggieland people talk of our infatuation w/ that school in Austin.

Might help our cause to rid of them. Hell, might make for a good song.
