Me and some buddies were wondering what college or pro stadium has the steepest stands. Kyle field stands are pretty steep.

The stands are pretty steep in the Zone, but on the east and west sides the stands aren't that steep.

kyle stands don't hold a light to the everest-like upper deck of the alamodome (yeah, i realize the alamodome isnt a pro or college stadium)

kyle isn't bad about steep stands

they're no where near as bad as the nosebleeds of the Superdome, those are the worst I've sat in...

Clemson's stadium is extremely steep.

I always thought the rainbow seats at the top of the Astrodome were steep. Not the skyboxes, but the ones just below them.

the seahawks stadium is pretty steep. To get the best acoustics, you get steeper as you get higher.

Upper Deck at Amon Carter (TCU) is straight down......I would never sit up there again

Clemson was pretty damn steep and it was a hell of treck to the top.

Steep is good. Keeps you closer ot teh action

I agree on Amon Carter, it's downright scary to be up there especially if you've been pounding beers all day.

superdome is pretty scary.

The upper deck in the Silverdome is ridiculous.

Florida's The Swamp is supposed to be ridiculous.

I have to agree about Clemson.

I had to "squeeze" to keep from wetting the pants. It beat the everest hike back up.

Tiger Stadium Baton Rouge. 85,86 LSU game 35 yd line, top row. Helicopters were flying in lower then us. Freaky scary.

It's awful. I was scared to move up there!

i didn't think the Swamp was that steep when I was there for the Tennessee game a few years ago.

I can't imagine anything steeper than Amon Carter.





Notice how close the front row of the upper deck is to the field? That's why this is such a steep uppder deck.

Clemson was TERRIBLE. My drunk ass had all kinds of hell getting to the top row of that thing.

Agree with Vegas, the Swamp isn't bad at all. I really don't think LSU's stadium is that bad either - I've been to about 5 games in the last three years.

Other than that, I don't know of that many steep stadiums.

I seem to recall that the upper portion of Rice Stadium was pretty steep. Either that, or most Ags came from partying pretty hard in the parking lots.

For some reason i dont remember TCU being that bad, but i was kind of young and we sat close to the field.

Clemson is by far the steepest climb I've ever had at a stadium.

The top deck in the Georgia Dome is scary steep, and I hadn't even been drinkin'.

TCU's Amon Carter Stadium (but only the west side's upper deck) is the steepest I've seen.

I sorta like it that way. I took my late Dad (who was 73 at the time) to watch the final SWC game played there: A&M vs TCU, 1995. We had a great time. We walked all the way to the top. My Dad was a real trooper.

Anyway, the view is really great if you're focused on the action.

not a football stadium, but the old Boston Garden was pretty effing steep.

I think the Rose Bowl is the steepest stadium I've been in. Usually had good seats there thanks to the people I worked with but went to one UCLA-Oregon game with a coed and ended up about 3 rows from the top.

I haven't been to a game at the stadium in Denver but it looks impossibly steep from the outside. Anybody seen it from one of those high swoops?
