Should have asked for 3rd deck. You would have been between the 30s and low rows.

If you're getting 8 tickets, another trick is stacking. Instead of getting 8 together in one row, ask for 2 back-to-back rows of 4. (ie row 6 seats 1-4 and row 7, seats 1-4) It usually helps get better seats, plus you can talk to all your buddies then.

Stop your whining Juniors. I never got better than 20 yd line last year. My group ended up pulling 3rd deck 50 YARD LINE and no higher than 10th or 11th row. As a senior, I pulled row 235 at 930. So believe it that the sections were full.

Grad students are the same as a senior, they cannot pull a block before the season begins.

I was a senior last year, Im a grad student now and Im just the same as I was last year.

If uninfomed people would read the darn website, they would know that Monday is Seniors & Grad students.

Wrong. It's dependent on your field of study. Some graduate and professional degree programs preclude students from pulling at their assigned time, and those students are allowed to pull "season tickets" before the semester starts.

That's because engineering doesn't have any of the programs

I know for a fact that the 3rd and 4th year medical school are allowed to pull season tickets due to their schedules and rotations. I'm not sure about the 1st and 2nd year students, but they may be permitted to do so as well.

That is kinda cool and sheety at the same time.

If they do it for one they should do it for all. I did not particularly enjoy getting up every monday morning extra early to go stand in line. Especially if I had other things to do.

There was a bit of a hubbub in previous years when student tickets to t.u. games at Kyle showed up on eBay weeks before the game was played.

I remember that keegan. I emailed byrne about those tickets. It really burned me that I was out there standing in line when some yahoos were selling their tickets on ebay.

You know, there's a bit of a difference between whatever it was you had to do and working at the ER at a hospital in Temple as part of your degree program.

Exactly. The only people this is for are the Med students. MS/MBA kids pull just like everyone else.

Well I had sprint across campus to be in the O&M building for the class I was responsible for that particular semester. It made things very difficult. I understand that other people have responsibilities too. But they are not the only ones. It is done out of convenience. Those people could pull later if they wanted to. Just as I could have. It is not like it is was impossible for them to pull, it was just inconvenient. If you are going to change the rules so it is not inconvenient for one, then do so for all.

Thats pretty weak that these people dont have to stand around in line and then sell their stuff on ebay ..

But whatever, they are getting punished doing residency I guess, so eh .. I have never met a doctor that I like and I was a scrub tech for 3 years ;D

Who knows, but I did see this young thing's head bobbing up and down in the ticket booth, and the ticket booth guy seemed to be enjoying his work WAY too much!

No way do students get to save the better seats. Everything is on the computer now. You walk up, tell them the section, they put it in the computer, it spits out a ticket. They don't have control over anything.

If you don't know what you're talking about keep your mouth shut.

And ticket pull isn't best available for the fist one there. They do it different all the time. I know one game this year they did all odd rows first and then went back and filled the even rows. So if you got there early in the morning you may have gotten 25 but later in the day could have gotten 6. They pretty much do what they want in there.

All I know is I will be sitting in Section 234 Row 2 Seat 1! Wait your turn juniors!

I spoke with my friend in the ticket office last night. He said after Tuesday 1st and 2nd deck student tickets are totally gone. Only 3rd deck remains. In previous weeks, 1st and 2nd deck were available until thursday.
