There was one that came out in 1998 with a guy being critical of R.C., saying that R.C. was going to use his assistant coaches as "escape goats" if things were to go bad. Wasn't there then a contingent of R.C.-supporting posters who proudly called themselves Escape Goats?

Wow... I hadn't ever seen that Mark Sykes thread - pretty ridiculous. There was even a reference to me in it at the end.

I read the first page of that, and it's a few people complaining about a photographer.

What happened to get it to 17 pages?

I'll try and summarize as I couldn't put it down like some kind of thriller novel.

1. OP complains about a local photog whom she was using because she got a gift cert.
2. Lots of people agree that the photog in question sucks.
3. 2 random people register at nearly the same time and start vehemently defending the photog with a few snide comments toward the OP mixed in, as well.
4. Eventually, it comes out that the 2 noobs are not only married, but also neighbors of the OP and the ones that gave her the gift cert.
5. Insults start flying about both sets of people.
6. After that, it kind of tailed off... there were in-depth criticisms of Syke's photographs of a wedding (the bride from that wedding then came in to defend herself and the pictures), more insults, but what kept the thread going was the neighbor of the OP being absolutely retarded. She couldn't spell, had no grammatical abilities, spewed hatred, and was all around off her rocker.
