We are are certain to receive grief for this schedule being too easy or at least the non conference schedule being to easy. Normally I would prefer a tougher non conference schedule. However, I think the non conference schedule is what the doctor ordered for this team in '06.
Other thoughts...
We should head into ttu 4-0 playing them at home. Glad to see ttu played at the point in the season that they should be (early October). ttu at the end of the season makes them look like a marquis game....for which they are not... regardless of the scores the last few years. I digress.....
At first I was not happy about playing Army in San Antonio (home field advantage, Kyle Field, etc). After thinking about it, during a time of war....its the right thing to do for all the A&M grads in the military as well as the West Pointers. As we all know, San Antonio is a big military town.
I'll avoid overall predictions (for another thread) but feel this schedule is a very good schedule for the '06 A&M team. It sets up very well for a team that has great potential.
Looking forward to September 2.
Merry Christmas
