I think it was the New Orleans Saints a while back, but I could be wrong. Anyway, I saw something on NFL Films and they showed the majority of fans coming to games with paper bags over their heads (with eye cutouts to watch the impending disaster). It was hilarious to be honest.
This is really sort of how I feel. I'm not a 2%er and have never been. I will watch the Ags even when they are bad - I just can't not watch. I've spent a lot of money to see my team lose long distance road trips in South Bend, New York, and other places. I am a member of the 12th Man Foundation. I guess supporting Texas A&M football is sort of like an addiction, but I feel a little bit like those fans who wanted to be anonymous. Let me feed my addiction in privacy and with no shame.
I'm not advocating we change Maroon Out by selling maroon paper bags with the eyes cut out, but damn, I am embarrassed watching this team lose like they have in these last five seasons.
