Yeah, I know the whole story - probably moreso than a lot of you do. Jorrie deserved to be kicked off the team and Mayes needed some heavy discipline, but IMO didn't deserve to be kicked off. I think a several game suspension would have been adequate.

Look, players on all football teams do some questionable things, but do not get kicked off for things such as what Eric did. The attrition is going to continue to prevent us from competiting against OU and tu when their players do comparable things and are still allowed to continue to play.

I trust Fran. He may not make the best decision all the time, but will the vast majority, and I stand behind his decision.


Okay, so it stinks that he is gone, what good does it do to rehahsh how bad it is to lose him on here. About all it has accomplished is a bunch of posters rehahsing the depth and breadth of his transgressions. We will miss him on the field, but we'll be fine w/out him, just like others we've lost over the years.

I hope he learns something from this and does well in life.

Let's move on and stop bringing up old skeletons.

I couldn't help but think the same thing yesterday watching AUA clips. But as others have said there were other guys making big plays too and its going to come down to new guys making an impact.
