An atrocity has taken place this week! My girlfriend and I made a trip to Waco on Tuesday and on the way back today we saw that some Baylor students had painted in green and yellow paint 35-34 on the side of the Aggie Barn in Reagan!!! For those of you that drive by it all the time you know that it displays the jr. and sr. class years on the front, but now it has been vandalaized by classless students from Baylor!! I don't think this is some kind of sick and twisted motivational technique being used by other Aggies....we have enough of it already! With this, I just hope and pray that when Baylor visits us here in the fall, that the 60 minutes of the game will feel like 60 years to the Baylor football team! I have never been this pissed at Baylor before, and I don't know why they keep on with this because the more they do, the worse be are going to beat them here at Kyle in the fall! If you know anyone from Baylor.....give them a pice of your mind! I am so pissed right now!!!

This happened prior to a game while I was at A&M (sometime between 97 and 01). I remember reading in the Batt that the owner of the barn was going to send a bill to the President of Baylor for the labor and materials required to repaint it. I wonder if he got a response.

If I was a current student, it's payback time. Kind of like back in the day when Rice students thought it would be funny to blow whistles during the Aggie Band performance and mess everything up...well, their 100 year old oak tree got cut down the next day...

We need to take pictures of it and send them to Fran. Then Fran can show them this in the locker room, and when they don't want to score anymore out of pity maybe they will run up the score just a little...

The picture should be framed and displayed prominately in the locker room and weight room to remind the players to take no team for granted.

I would have taken a picture of it, but I was way too mad to stand still and take a picture of such disrespect for private property! It will probably be cleaned up in a week and if it's not, I'll offer to help clean it up on Sunday on my way back to Waco....any takers?

sadly, i am a former student- if i were not then i would be working with my friends to plan an appropriate counter attack- i am sure that new army will respond to this incursion- i can only urge everyone to remember that this is 2005 and old people managed to destroy the sense of humor that apparently existed when they were growing up, so be careful and dont do anything that will get you arrested

I remember Baylor painting that barn green before the game one year... I think they painted it sometime between Thursday night and Friday afternoon. When the Ags found out about it, some corps units, and possibly others as well, headed out there to repaint it Maroon. So by Saturday morning, their efforts had been thwarted.

It's been a long time since A&M put three digits on the scoreboard... I think we need to do that for the Baylor game this year. We haven't taken them seriously in over a decade, but we should this year.
