Not a single mention of Latrell Sprewell??? Guy attacks his coach, makes tons of insensitive remarks, and chooses to keep his dog that severely injured his daughter in a mauling, and thats just off the court. HornGrad, the only athlete from tu that has EVER gotten my respect, is Applewhite (and maybe T.J. Ford). He handled the whole QB controversy as well as anyone could have. For that, he earned my respect. There's no reason for ANYONE to bench the Co-Offensive MVP of the Big XII, simply for a name. Chrissy never lived up to his hype, and Mack's decision to please Phil, quite possibly cost you your best chance at a title. For that whole situation, I have come to detest Phil and Chrissy, and admire Applewhite.

How anyone can hate Roger Staubach is beyond me. He must have beaten your team all the time or something, but that's no reason to hate him. Only Clint Longley hated Staubach, and he was gone five minutes after he sucker punched him.

Oh yea....I agree with hating Bill Walton. Especially since the got those wooden teeth. And let's not forget Joe Morgan ( the Madden and Walton of baseball ).

You listed every Boston Rod Sox player from last year with the exception of Pedro. I can't stand Pedro. He's #5 on my list.

Rot- coming from somebody close to the program, if you honestly believe Phil had anything to do with Simms playing then you will believe anything anybody tells you. Coach Brown was a deer in headlights as soon as Simms stepped on campus with his Pro style arm and potential. That blinded him into throwing Simms into the spotlight stubbornly, buying into the potential instead of taking what was right in front of him (Applewhite). You won't meet a nicer kid than Chris Simms I can promise you that. His only faults were being naive and getting ahead of the expectations placed before him. If you hate him because of that, so be it. But don't hate him because you bought into some talk radio BS about Phil Simms shaking MB's hand in a darkly light room in Belmont while slapping Chris on the back. Chris Simms and Major have always been buddies, and Chris wasn't the one who picked himself to start. I wish it were that easy.

I see a lot of A&M fans hate towards Simms as being a projection of the very thing that they hate about UT- silver spoon, stuck up golden boys overshadowing or wronging Aggies (Applewhite) by their arrogance and flakiness. If you know Simms, you'd know that he is none of that. Just a kid with too much put on his plate when he wasn't ready. The fact that he had the success he did against y'all only makes you hate him even worse

And one more thing, Simms playing over Applewhite in 01 didn't cost us a NC. A shot at Miami in the Rose Bowl would have been brutal with their NFL studded cast, even with Applewhite aka Jesus Christ at the helm

lebron james. Seems like a nice enough kid but completely kisses a$$ in interviews and trys way too hard to make sure everybody knows "hes a team player" and "im just here for the fans" and every other catch phrase know. That is beyond obvious and its getting old.
