It's hard to dislike him, but he's gone 4-17 in the ACC the last 3 years while sporting a roster far more expensive than most (if not all) of their conference brethren. This while representing a school that considers itself deserving better than the ACC and aspires to change athletic affiliations.

The last 6 years have been the most volatile years ever to be a head coach in CFB. From covid years to NIL to free transfers for all to expanding playoffs to nobody knowing what is truly going to happen next (SEC going to 9 conf games self inflicted wound), it's hard to hold any coach truly accountable for what results have been lately. It's just ridiculous. We've gone from decades of pure control of the process to 6 or 7 years of zero understanding of any process.

Some coaches have navigated it better than others but in general we're seeing waves where coaches are good and bad with each change. It's a rough time for cfb.

He scored a lot of points when he was very hands on with his offenses thru his career.

2-10 followed by 5-7, lost 17 of last 21 ACC games. 3-5 in 2026. Just brutal. Makes our current plight seem like no big deal. FSU saved / delayed some $$$ by giving him 2026.

Jimbo is rested and ready and FSU could pay him minimum wage as some other idiotic program is paying him millions to not work….

Yeah it's bizarre.

I think that's what we are seeing with Lko. He got lucky last season with an easy sched and KC Concepcion, which Klein probably picked.

No big deal? We're likely headed for no better than 5-7 ourselves. I won't speculate further.
