Has hart tried being more calm and more relaxed in the pocket?
Maybe hart should run 10 yards backward before getting sacked. Thats really what Elko is looking for in a starting qb
Are you planning on injuring Reed? That's the only chance for Hart. Even then, I'm not positive he doesn't just put Owens back there.

IMO Elko risked losing the team by not giving Hart an opportunity to play. Elko emphasized throughout the offseason how important competition was, yet he seems willing to abandon that philosophy when it comes to Reed. You can't preach competition and then apply it selectively.

Hart doesn't want to play if you ask me. He's done and my shot is this, he transfers out because all he can see is how they have zero confidence in him and marcel bails too. leaving us with 1 qb on the roster, maybe none.

I think the biggest problem with the team is the team captains. None of them have been playing anywhere close to championship level football and Sanford is the only one with a bit of an excuse coming back from injury.
The team voted these guys to be captains and it's like Elko is afraid to bench them because of that.

What gets me is, we got 84 other guys on the roster that want to win just as bad and probably can win the game. But Elko is hung up on the one guy that evidently can't make it happen. Everyone else is expendable except the squeaky wheel that is dragging the team down. Simply amazing!

" Sumlin mismanaged the QBs" is what everyone always says. Which I never agreed with. He saw one qb on his roster struggling. He went to the other guy to get a spark. Elko seems to have lost focus. The only thing that should matter to him is winning. He has become a loser, and that stink is hard to get away from.

And this is bad? Forces Elkos hand to go into portal...spend a few million and bring it two veteran transfers and make them compete along with redshirt Freshman and incoming true Freshman.
Sounds perfect to me as I dont want to gamble on Hart after seeing this year's bet on Reed. Plus if Elko is correct about Reed being a better chance to win, Hart doesn't belong on this roster considering.

This reminds me of the blackjack player that follows the rulebook religiously and still gets mad when the casino wins. Elko follows his formula with a stubbornness that disallows intuition or intensity
