I hate those sausages on a stick. My job would be so much easier if y'all just ate healthy.
For Elko to make changes, first he would need to actually care. We've made him rich, and he didn't have to bring home a single piece of hardware for it.
Don't forget the new athletic director. That's task #1 and that's saying something.

What's so bad about the DC? The QB coach has seemingly caused a regression in Reed's play. He looked ok for a quarter yesterday . To me it's so obvious he needs to get the ball out of his hands quickly whether that be a short pattern or a throw away or tuck and run. If he holds the ball more than about 3 secs and then throws the ball nothing good happens.

I was on the OC is fine wagon and Reed is the problem until some of the atrocious play calling last Saturday and the completely abandoning the run with 10+ minutes left in the 4th quarter down by 11. Yeah, we need to score but there was plenty of time for a 5-6m drive and the defense was still playing well enough to plan to get the all back + 3 time outs, then go into hurry up and pass mode to tie or win the game on the last drive.

He's not wrong. Defense has done enough to win. A statistically middle of the road QB makes this a completely different season.
The defense isn't good! How many times can they not stop the run our WR are running wide open?
That soft zone we run…….I'm sick to death of watching opponents WRs catching balls where we don't have a defender within camera shot of them. Are we really that horrible to where we can't at least occasionally play a little man coverage? Where's Arrington? Currie? JBG?

The problem with the defense is that we have no pressure on the qb. Elko whiffed on pass rushing ends.

Defense has already had it's pants pulled down out at the 50 yard line. Check this year's stats for opposing WR's getting career high receiving yards against us.
We are giving up more explosive plays than any other team in the SEC. It just isn't quite as atrocious as the offense.

I would like to see a complete reset but we won't spend.

To win A&M needs NFL level play calling, head coaching and competition at QB.
Great coaching in college is hard to find because the NFL takes the best guys. Yes there is Kirby Smart but the best coordinators and assistants are in the NFL.

A HC's job is to win games. In this scenario, Elko needs to adapt and try different things including other playing at qb and other offensive schemes. This can include replacing the OC or giving another coach the call playing role. At this point, Elko is going to be pig headed and stay with Reed at qb and Wiggins as OC. You cannot and should not expect different results without massive changes or an outright reset.
