The odds all of 3 of these being different people are a very big probability. We must go get a solid 5 star QB that is proven at this level. Same with the coordinators. We do this and Elko can be the CEO.

Nobody deserves to return, Elko just doesn't care. He can do nothing and retire an extremely rich man. We did this to ourselves.

Elko doesn't think he made any bad decisions. At least he doesn't want to admit he did.

History tells us that our playbook is to have the head coach sacrifice a coordinator or two before he gets run the following year. So look for Elko to fire the OC, and then he himself gets fired during or after the 2027 season. It's predictable.

We need to change our entire business model because the aggie way does not work. We can spend a lot less money for the same or historic results.

FWIW, I think other schools will be saying "enough" in short order. Saban was railing Friday on the problemsin college football and eventually you are going to run out of money as boosters will tire of the current climate.

The Defense is playing really well. There's a point where even a rockstar defense will fall if their offense can't get past a 3-out. Our defense is at a level where an offense like last year's would place us in a playoff berth again. Our kicking game would add to that. Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater. Focus on what's broken.

Wiggins needs to go back to being a position coach. Hard to say how bad he really is doing when the QB throwing 5-10 yard passes into the dirt.

Proven 5-star QBs don't grow on trees. Your peak delusion that we can money-whip and snag such a player out from under the noses of other"proven" programs is top quality entertainment to close out the weekend.

I'm not sold that Elko has big enough network of coaches to go get that are big time.

This will be like Fran and Jimbo years (and many others)...once in a downward spiral, no one will come here but used Insurance sales people.

Money works for a bit, but if the program in a downward spiral and if Elko gets on shaky ground (even if potential coaches told he isn't by AD, public perception), who is he going to get that can coach and recruit?

Already can see that with some of the coaches on the staff today. Brought from lower conferences where they were successful, but doesn't translate.

Our defense is good but our offense keeps our defense on the field too much and gives them no support.

Fix what's broken.
