Everyone is talking about how the 4th down fumble is when A&M lost the game. But, we really need to go back and look at when alabama loses their best corner and we don't immediately attack that position. Instead, what do we do? RUN THE BALL 3 TIMES (yea, it looked like reed checked out of the 3rd down play, but in to a run on 3rd and long). I'm not 100% on this, but it feels like A&M is the only team in college football that wouldn't try to exploit a weakness, instead elko is worried about t.o.p. and of course A&M doesn't score.

I still think the mo turned on the 4th down but you are right, every poster on texags would have called an out and up next play….but not us

I like how everyone thinks Reed can make any throw over 10 yards. Even the "good" throws he makes are not that good. The throw to 7 on the first touchdown drive was a little behind him an the TD to Craver was high. Reeds inaccuracy does not allow our receivers to make plays.

I never said he could do it, I'm just arguing that we should at least freaking try...

The momentum turned on 3rd down before the fumble. I think we got the first down with a terrible spot. It was critical play and worth a challenge. Elko was gutless and stupid to not challenge it.

Worst case - you lose a timeout. However, you can use those two minutes to come up with 4th and 1 play.

Losing a great corner hurts most teams. But Reed can't take advantage of it, so it didn't matter.
