The SEC has turned into a toss-up this year…and here we are mired in the slop of poor coaching decisions…preseason and in-season. Another opportunity missed by poor leadership. Wash, rinse and repeat, all over again.

Nah man, the real shame is:
A. We would have the same record this season with Jimbo.
B. We would not have spent $X million buyout + $Y million Elko + $Z million extension.
Therefore, we spent $100M for arguably worse results. That calls into question whether the BMAs and regents are actually intelligent people. (I mean, at least with Jimbo, we were Texas 8&4.)

People can't recall last year eh?
It is a crying shame.
It's all part of the curse. So many good teams under Jimbo while the sips were in the dumpster. The minute we decide to play them again, the wheels fall off.

We have a QB1 problem, period.
Complete the gimme throws, give the playmakers YAC opportunities, which leads to getting more 1st downs....and literally everything looks and feels different, including our record.

What we are witnessing is parity brought on by the transfer portal and NIL. Welcome to the new era of college football.

I think it is more than just a QB1 problem. We also have an offensive line that can't hold, a defensive line that doesn't get a lot of pressure and a bad scheme on both sides.
Hey, but we have a great kicker.

None of this is on Elko. You can't build a team through the portal. It takes 4-5 years and you certainly can't find a talented QB in the portal
