We don't have very many guys that look like future pros. Not sure if we have GM position but most top teams have this now.
Hicks, Edwards, Sanford, Humphrey, Rick's, Craver when healthy and Olano our current team MVP are the only guys that look like possible draft guys. That is pretty terrible talent overall and lack of development once here. I may be missing a few but you can't win in the SEC without 7-10 NFL guys per year and with bad QB play it makes it much more obvious. We missed badly on oline and Dline portal guys and you can't overcome that mistake at this level. Not sure how we fix it without an entire new process or hire a better evaluator.

Maybe 2 of the Oline guys get drafted but late round guys. We have zero first our second round guys and that is a problem.

Adams and Formby were good gets. Rogers looks like he is progressing. But we missed on the rest of the portal, and what happened to the development of guys like Ashton Funk? I remember him last year looking pretty good.

Elko has got to give Hart a chance. His release is quick, he just needs live game reps. The Citadel game should have him getting equal reps. If he fails then, sobeit.

when your QB1 is booty cheeks and your RB1 is getting replaced by a freshman, the argument stops at the feet of KJ in the flat.

We can all see the issue is just Marcel and by extension Elko and his decision to build a team around him. Elko failed in his evaluation of Marcel

Bama has a QB that can throw and doesn't sprint towards his own goal line at the merest hint of a blitz.

Kentucky and LSU OLines as well, not to mention new QBs and RBs.

Reeds bad play has overshadowed the mediocre talent around him. Most of our portal guys are big downgrades from the previous year and we aren't developing the guys we have. It's not just a qb problem.

I think the OLine gets exposed by the play calling and lack of success by the QB, as well as Owens lack of footwork hitting gaps. I think there's a bad mentality up there as well, bc they are "an ingredient" to the problem. Also, I have seen that we don't really try to help them out, but then I realize our WRs aren't all that physical so spreading the ball out doesn't gain us much positive ground, if any at all.

IF I had to rank the issues personally here they are

1. Marcels footwork and throwing
2. Play calling decisions & lack of coaching on the sideline (start lighting a fire under their asses)
2. WR physicality
3. RB (Owens) problem staying up in key nitty gritty couple yard gains
4. OL

Offense is only going to look as good as the QB is. WR's don't look great despite all the talent in the world because Reed can't throw. O line can't do anything to protect an 8 step dropback. RB's are fine, defense is fine, but poor QB play gonna amplify every smaller issue.
